Faith

Hebrews 11

By faith people of God accomplish great things for his glory. Biblically speaking, without faith there would be no Isaac, no entering the promised land, no military victories and no Christ.

The safe road is rarely the narrow one. According to this world it is safer to buy a savings bond then to give your money to the church. But it is by faith that we give to the church, that we will see our investment has multiplied many times over when we enter heaven. A limited return on a limited investment for a limited time vs. an unlimited return on a limited investment for all of eternity.

Do we take the safe path and perform dubious acts to advance our careers, or do we follow God faithfully? A good career secures our future ... until we die. Faithfulness to God may not secure our future here on earth, but it will secure our place in heaven.

Lesson: Choose faith over safe for greater rewards.

I wanted to leave a comment that there is a difference between chosing the narrow path and living reclessly. Some are called to give everything to the church.

Some are called to minister to there families. This includes being responsible for their welfare and well being. God does not condone neglect to pursue his higher call.

If given a family, or some other responsibility by God you must be responsible to that responsibility.
